USANA Amphitheater | Salt Lake City, UT
"Stone Cold Sober" singer Brantley Gilbert is out on the road again this summer on the Blackout Tour! The gravel-voiced star will be joined by two of his favorite fellow acts Justin Moore & Colt Ford, and they all head to USANA Amphitheater on Thursday 13th October 2016 for a night of hard-rocking maverick country!
“This is why I do this,” the star says. “To take it to the people. I want to rock hard and tell the truth and see it in their eyes. My fans know what I’m talking about, and they come for that reason. It’s not for everybody, but it’s its own kind of country … and being out in some of the secondary markets, the kind of places I came up, that feels just like home.”
Brantley Gilbert is an American country rock singer/songwriter whose life changed completely after a near-fatal car accident aged 19, which inspired him to move to Nashville and pursue a career in music. Upon arrival in the city, Gilbert was signed to Warner/Chappell, which lead to him writing for fellow country stars Colt Ford and Jason Aldean. His debut album, Modern Day Prodigal Son, was released in 2009 under independent label Average Joes Entertainment and the follow up album, Halfway to Heaven, was released the following year. In 2011, Gilbert signed with Valory Music Co., a division of Big Machine Records, who re-released Halfway to Heaven with new recordings and bonus tracks. The album was platinum certified in the US, and lead to Gilbert winning the ACM New Male Artist award in 2013. Gilbert's second album on Valory, Just as I Am, was released in May 2014.
