In 1975, Stevie Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac with Lindsey Buckingham after the pair had been performing as a folk-rock duo for some time. Fleetwood Mac was on the verge of rising. They’ve already released ten studio albums with their former male singer and guitarist. Fleetwood became a stellar success after releasing their first record with Stevie Nicks. Their self-titled tenth album, also known as the White Album, landed the band their first number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Later, the record sold more than seven million albums in the U.S., earning seven platinum certifications. Since their tenth album, Fleetwood Mac’s career skyrocketed, selling more than 120 million albums worldwide.

In 1981, Stevie Nicks pursued her solo career and released her debut album, Bella Donna. The album hit number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned the hits “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” “Leather and Lace,” and “Edge of Seventeen.” Moreover, the record was included in Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Billboard 200 Albums chart.

Nicks earned numerous accolades throughout her five-decade career. She was the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, one for her work with Fleetwood Mac and another for her solo career. Furthermore, she has won two Grammy Awards and earned eight Grammy Award nominations.
