Multiplatinum-selling band Disturbed is regarded as one of the most successful heavy metal acts to come out of the 21st century. The band, led by frontman and singer-songwriter David Draiman, has consistently charted on the Billboard 200 since the release of their five-time platinum debut effort, The Sickness, in 2000. Disturbed has dropped eight highly-acclaimed albums, five of which topped the Billboard 200. Moreover, the band has sold over 13 million albums worldwide – 11.5 million were sold in the United States.
In November 2022, Disturbed dropped their eighth effort, Divisive. The album topped the Alternative and Hard Rock chart and peaked at number 13 on the Billboard 200. The record was also a phenomenal international hit, entering the charts in 14 other countries. Divisive was preceded by the single “Hey You,” which topped the U.S. Mainstream rock chart. The single joined Disturbed’s other string of number 1 songs, like “Open Your Eyes,” “Are You Ready,” “The Sound of Silence,” and “Another Way to Die,” among others.
