Venue Rules At A Glance

Remember that in accordance with fire ordinances, open flame cooking is strictly forbidden in all Utah First Credit Union amphitheater (formerly USANA Amphitheatre) parking lots.

Consuming any alcoholic drinks is also banned in parking areas, again in compliance with local ordinances. These rules are strictly enforced by members of West Valley police, who patrol the area.

Coolers are not allowed and outside food and beverages cannot be taken inside the venue.

Lawn chairs and any other seating devices with legs longer than 5 inches are not allowed. Chairs are available to rent on a limited first-come-first-served basis. Blankets are welcome, along with legless stadium seats.

Once the venue is exited, re-entry is strictly forbidden.

Items strictly not allowed include, but are not limited to: Recording devices, photographic devices, video recorders, strollers, umbrellas, lawn chairs, containers made from glass, metal or plastic; food and beverages, coolers, any form of weapon, wallet chains, spiked accessories including belts and similar items, and any sort of drugs.

Amphitheater Rules & Policies

Several rules and policies are in place at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre. Due to local regulations, parking lot tailgating — including open-flame cooking and the consumption of alcoholic beverages — is prohibited. West Valley police strictly enforce this.

Guests are permitted to bring the following items into the venue:

  • Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”
  • Small clutch bags up to 6” x 9”
  • Non-professional cameras (those without detachable lenses)
  • One factory-sealed water bottle per person, up to one gallon in size
  • Empty bottles for refilling at water stations (metal, aluminum, glass, or camelback containers are not allowed)
  • Personal fans
  • Non-aerosol sunscreen
  • Personal-sized blankets.

All persons and bags will be checked on arrival. The main and south gates are accessible for all ticket types, while the VIP Club has a separate entry. Guests may purchase a fast pass for $20 and use the much quicker security lanes. Please bring all items with you, as re-entry is not allowed.

You may bring clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags (maximum size 12″ x 6″ x 12″). Small clutch bags (maximum size 6″ x 9″) are also permitted.

All guests may undergo security checks like metal detectors or physical pat-downs. Bags are subject to inspection upon entry.

Prohibited items

The list of prohibited items at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre includes:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Alcohol, cans, and bottles
  • Illegal drugs
  • Glass and metal containers
  • Hard-sided coolers
  • Large or oversized bags/backpacks
  • Laser pens or pointers
  • Lawn chairs or stadium seats
  • Fireworks, fire-starters, and open flames
  • Outside food
  • Audio recording equipment and noise-making devices
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, hover-boards, scooters, bicycles, and other personal vehicles
  • Umbrellas
  • Tablets, laptops, GoPros, and selfie sticks
  • Professional cameras and equipment
  • Strollers or car seats
  • Unauthorized solicitation or marketing materials
  • Inflatable items.

Any item deemed dangerous by security teams may also be refused entry.

Cash policy

Cashless payments are the preferred method at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre. In particular, credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payments can be used at all outlets.

Ticket policy

Events are Mobile Entry only. Mobile devices are usually used for event access, while tickets will not be emailed or available for print.

Smoking policy

Smoking is permitted in designated plaza areas only. Event staff will give you directions on the day.

child policy

Unless otherwise noted, all events are for all ages. Children under two years old do not need their own ticket if they can sit on a parent’s lap during the show.

animals policy

Pets and emotional support animals are prohibited at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre. ADA-registered service animals are allowed to accompany their owners inside the venue.
