The hedonistic and rock and roll lifestyle was embodied by Motley Crue during their prime. Their notoriousness brought them to fame but they’re magnificent live performances and addictive head bang worthy hits made them into superstars. Motley Crue rose to prominence with their sophomore effort Shout At the Devil. They clearly portrayed a persona that parents warned their kids about but still, the band became the biggest breakouts in the 80s heavy metal. Motley Crue has released a total of nine albums, including their nine time platinum selling mega 1989 effort Dr. Feelgood. Motley Crue sold over 100 million copies throughout their career, making them one of the best selling heavy metal bands of all time. 

ABOUT TESLA

The Sacramentao born hard rock powerhouse took hair metal to its ultimate. Tesla released their debut album Mechanical Resonance in 1986 with Geffen Records. The album, which made a moderate breakthrough into the Billboard 200 chart eventually sold over a million copies, earning platinum in the US. in 1989, their follow up effort The Great Radio Controversy peaked at number 18 on chart and earned the band double platinum status for its massively successful run. The album also spawned the band’s massive hit, “Love Song,” which became their first single to enter the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. In 1991, Tesla released “Signs,” a song from their debut live album, Five Man Acoustical Jam. The single became their highest charting song on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 8.
