The band Nickelback has long since experienced success. They are a Canadian rock group that was founded in Hanna, Alberta, in 1995. Chad Kroeger on guitar and vocals, Ryan Peake on guitar, keyboard, and backing vocals, Mike Kroeger on bass, and Daniel Adair on drums make up the band. The group has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, making it one of the most popular Canadian rock bands. With "How You Remind Me" as the best-selling rock song and the fourth-best song overall, they were ranked by Billboard as the most successful rock group and the seventh-most successful artist of that decade in 2009.
The group joined Roadrunner Records in 1999, and their 2002 hit single "How You Remind Me," which peaked at number one in the US and Canada, helped them break into the mainstream. The parent album, Silver Side Up, would eventually earn an eight-time platinum certification in Canada. The Long Road, Nickelback's fourth album, was released in 2003 and produced five singles, including "Someday," which peaked at No. 1 in Canada and No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Three top-ten and five top-twenty singles on the Billboard Hot 100 were produced by the band's best-selling album to date, All the Right Reasons, in 2005. These singles included "Photograph," "Far Away," and "Rockstar," the latter of which was their biggest hit in the UK. From their sixth album, Dark Horse (2008), Nickelback released eight singles, including the top ten hit "Gotta Be Somebody" in the US. The seventh album, Here and Now, topped the Canadian charts in 2011. Since then, the group has issued No Fixed Address (2014), Feed the Machine (2017), and most recently, Get Rollin', its tenth album (2022).
A lot can be said about Nickelback, but the fact remains that they are some of the best rock entertainers in the industry, and they always perform to sold out audiences.
