As a result of their two #1 albums last year, Red Hot Chili Peppers are the first rock band in 17 years to accomplish this accomplishment. Return of the Dream Canteen debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart, same like its predecessor Unlimited Love did in April 2022. Rick Rubin, a longstanding colleague and creative confidant, produced both albums. Furthermore, it achieved number one in a number of nations around the world.
Red Hot Chili Peppers won the prestigious Global Icon Award last year and produced a show-stopping performance at the MTV VMAs. Their No. 1 single "Black Summer" was also named Best Rock Video. In addition, "Black Summer" received a Grammy nomination for "Best Rock Song," and the band received an MTV Europe Music Award nomination for Best Rock, as well as three American Music Awards nominations for "Favorite Rock Artist," "Favorite Rock Album," and "Favorite Rock Single" for "Black Summer."
Get ready to catch them live as they move across cities in North America this upcoming year!
