Better Broken was released last year with the title track as the lead single, followed by “Gravity” and “Reminds Me.” The album follows McLachlan’s incredible work with Wonderland, which was released in 2016. This 2026, fans will be seeing McLachlan deliver brand new music. It wil be the first time fans see her deliver fresh tunes in a while. Last 2024, she celebrated the 20th anniversary of her third album Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, in which she delivered her 90s hits from start to finish. The singer-songwriter from Canada rose to prominence in the 90s with singles “Hold On” and “Possesion,” both spawned from her breakthrough 1993 album, Fumbling Towards Ecstacy. For the rest of the decade, MacLachlan dropped several more iconic hits, including US breakthrough hits, “Adia” and “Angel,” peaking at numbers 4 and 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively. McLachlan has released a total of ten albums and earned a staggering list of accolades, including two Grammys and multiple Juno Awards. She was also inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame,
Grammy winning Americana and folk phenom Allison Russell released her debut album Outside Child in 2021. The album, which features the American root single, “Nightflyer,” earned Russell four Grammy nominations. Over at the Juno Awards, the album won Best Contemporary Roots Album. Two years later, she dropped her sophomore effort, The Returner which featured the single, “Eve Was Black,” which won Russell her first Grammy for Best American Roots Performance.
